Saturday- 155/365
I found this bright green worm while digging in my garden. I have seen green worms before but this was like day-glo or neon green.

Good shot of the worm . . . not a fan of creepy crawlies!

Your garden is beautiful, Jen! Where were you when you took this?

My wife loves your garden; the worm not so much. She had me weeding in the flower gardens between the raindrops and mosquitos yesterday, so I'm gardened out today.

Thanks! I was just standing in my backyard... I used my 10-24 wide angle lens, does the perspective look strange?
oh! I may have been standing on a stump.

No, not at all. I love the perspective. I was just wondering if you were on the roof. The lens explains it.
(Just watching out for you :)

Nice shots Jen. The green worm reminds me of the start of a larva or something. The garden seems so serene and I love your flowers Great shots

Jen very nice picture. Red wing black birds are so hard to take a picture of Rick tried many times every time he would pull out his camera for one they would fly away. He got real lucky the day he took his picture. Good job on the picture I love it very crisp and the colors are wonderful.

You may want to take a look around and see where she has hidden her nest. Usually, THAT is what precipitates aggressive behavior.

Just a thought.

Pete

Oh, I know, Pete. I wasn't sure where the nest was, but as soon as I got close he let me know. I think there are now 2 families of these birds at the pond by my house. I found another one a few weeks ago on the other side and that one was a little harder to get a good shot of, you just gotta make it mad and it will follow you until you're far enough away from the nest.
