I love the "light writing", Jen! Very clever! The bumble bee is exceptional . . . sharp and excellent detail . . . and the lily is just beautiful, really great capture. Is this growing in your yard" I'm so envious!

Great job on all these photos!

Thanks!
Yes, it is growing in my yard. I'm sorry about your lilies. :(
I am proud of my garden this year. I could never have a sun loving garden before because we have so many trees in our yard, but last year we cut a really ugly one down and that gave me enough sun to plant a pretty sizable garden, and I went to town with the bulbs last fall. It makes me happy. :)

This is our neice, Jordan. We took the water taxi around the Inner Harbor today it was pretty hot, and she was pretty sweaty.

This was a surprise outside today.
Does anyone know what kind of bird this is? Some kind of vulture? Turkey...? lol
I had to chase it around the neighborhood and through a bunch of yards to get this shot.

it does, thanks Pete. A friend also says it's a female Turkey. I'm wondering how/ why there is a turkey roaming my neighborhood... It's kinda weird.

Definitely a wild female turkey. One of those flew across the hood of my car this morning. The turkey (and my car) escaped injury.

For what it is worth, I have photographed more than 50 turkeys and your photo is sharper than any of the ones I shot. Very good shooting!!!
