They're back (Grandkids)

"Grampy, Grampy, Look at the bug we found. Take a picture take a picture....<click>....(inserts memory card into computer)....file DSC_0697 (open) <click>....eeeeewwww, get rid of it, get rid of it.

Grandkids found a Tibicen that just came out of the ground and will molt its shell and emerge as our annual Cicada. Surprised to see this guy, he's a few week early for us. So by request, todays 365 comes from the Grandkids.

Your shots seems to be improving day by day.

I can account this to a couple of things. One the great help I have gotten from you all here. Two I'm tweaking my workflow and now know what changes I'm going to make before I even start. Three, I'm not been using my 28-300mm FX lens. I find myself fighting this lens more than I enjoy it. Got the 18-105 DX back on. I'm seeing a pattern in my comments where I get more with the 105mm. Going to have to break out the old 55-200mm DX and put that on and see if the same holds true.

Good eye Patrick, You're right not HDR but the shot is made up from two layers, as all my shots are.
