Day 116
Unfriendly Skies

"Filler" Photo today. Got up and went out to find something to shoot and the weather turned on me. Not as bad as it really looks, was really nothing here. Watched it on radar when I got home and grew into something while moving east, Oh well, been kind of slow here weather wise for me, hoping things pick up for me. Maybe I should be careful what I wish for.

Just a touch of HDR in this one to bring out some textures and a little toned over to the sepia side. I may not be Photo Challenge worthy quite yet, like I said this is only first one I shot I think I can do better. I got some more ideas I'm going to be working on in the coming days, see what happens.

Ver, same thing here, I live in a small town surrounded by cornfields, no I'm not kidding drive 5 minutes in any direction and you in a cornfield. Was lucky to find this shot.

My wife is really excited about this challenge and wants to get in this week, so we are road tripping (Car and train 2 hours one way) to Downtown Chicago on Friday while the kids are in school. I'm sure we are going to get some photos, just hope it the ones WE have in our minds.

BTW Great Weekly Challenge! Whoever issued it. ;)

I feel your pain. My hometown is exactly 1 square mile in size. The nearest "big city" is at least an hour away. My current newspaper assignment schedule isn't really permitting a road trip, so I'll have to get creative w/ the street challenge.

Also, your photo has a lot of great things going on! Keep up the good work!
