Nice shot Rick. I personally prefer the B & W, but would probably want to dodge his face to make it stand out a little more from the background.
Now was he angry of scared of you? :)

Thanks for the comments on the Black and white everyone. On the way out of the Car Show I saw this guy on the fence, and he was looking away. I zoomed my 18-108 out to 108, brought the camera up a quick auto focus and took the shot. Didn't know that he was looking at me.

I agree with Pete. B&W makes him look even more crusty. I even checked to make sure I still had my wallet after viewing it. ;)

Yes Marcel it was, it was sunny today so I put the "Beast" back on. Still having a hard time with this lens zoomed in believe it or not getting the right settings to compensate for the close zoom and loss of aperture. I saw it in a post here but I can't find it now, I'm looking for the formula so I can make it up with ISO.

Should have listen to advise I got and given up the extra 100mm for faster glass, And gone with a 70-200mm 2.6, A newbie mistake I'm sure. But I wanted 300mm. Now I'm torn again with this lens. Someday I like it, other days I think I made a big mistake.

NAS, NAS, NAS.

Please don't even mention NAS… I've been literally torn between getting the 80-200 2.8 or the 70-200 VRII. I have the money for it and just can't make up my simple mind. And of course the more I read about it in different reviews, the more confused I get. So, for me, confusion is the only way to cure NAS. :)

Nice, simple, good focus contrast and saturation, just the way I like pics to be. Great capture Rick.
