Day 135
Lilac Time

My hometown is Lombard, IL. Today is the annual Lilac Day Parade. So this one is for all you people back in Lombard. Sorry to hear it rained on your parade. Karma?

Nice shot Rick. Saw my first Lilacs in bloom today; but raining too hard to shoot them. BTW, you don't have to push your rain to the east, we've had plenty. Rumor has it they are looking for some down in New Mexico! :)

Nah! Them New Mexico folks will waste it. They'll just pour it all over the ground. Best save it for when you needs it later. :)

Now, if only we had a place to store it till we need it... I'll work on that Pete. In the mean time, maybe Rick will send some your way, as we've had enough for the moment. Yes, I have plenty of crackers!

Looks like a '50 model. I would LOVE to get aholt of that one and start a body off restoration!

How complete is it?

Pete

Pete I only been out here a few years still learning all the highlights of the area. This should tell you about the car it has it's own Flickr Page, I didn't even know it, just knew it was a little out side of town. 528 photos and counting so it been there a while. The page says "this car is being held together with bungee cords!!!." So I guess it's in sad shape, what a shame.
