As promised, away from bird pics for a min. We took a drive down to Key West, and I'll start with a couple of VERY FAR AWAY kite-boarders we spotted on the way down. Quick turn around, a few quick shots, and we were back on our way...

Then there's this street musician who was playing at the Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square in Key West. Yes, I tipped him as I asked if I could catch a shot. There's a whole lot of character here...

Then... what Mallory Square is famous for: Sunset pics. Caught a couple of the "sunset cruises" at the right time. Will have a few more boats in the next post...

Many thanks, all! Just wait until you see some of my sunset shots from Naples!! I could have filled 2 dozen 32GB cards there, easily, but I only had limited space left after all the other shots during the week. ;)

Went to Dania Beach to eat at the Quarterdeck restaurant that's actually on a pier out over the surf. Before we went in, though, I caught a pic of these two paddle-boarders.

Lobster night! 1.5lb lobster and side for $13.50, can't beat it! (no pics of the food, sorry!)

Then went back down to grab a couple pics of the pier on a long exposure.

Thanks! We did travel quite a bit more this time, as much as Dad could handle. :) He was reminiscing, we were 1st time experiencing, and it was all good!

As I've said before, a piece of my soul stays in Florida every time I have to leave again...

Some day.

Whatever! I'm still such a n00b when it comes to this photo thing... I just apply a lot of passion. Keep your camera in your hands, as they weren't meant for hooks, and thanks for the kind words!!
