Really like these Sandpatch. Are you shooting from a bridge? I see you've moved to the N2020. How was that early Nikon AF?
Yes, I found a local road off US-17 that went over the railroad and it was perfect. This is a fast railroad, level and straight. I love the old pre-PTC Darth Vader signals.
I shot with my Dad's old Nikon EL-2 for a number of years and it worked well … until I forgot that I wrapped it my winter jacket to keep it safe from rolling around in the car. I stopped for a shot and absent-mindedly grabbed my jacket, only to have the EL-2 roll out, fall to the ground and break.

My girlfriend thought it was pretty funny. She didn't understand the cost of repairing it. We didn't date much longer.
Christmas was weeks away and my Dad took pity on me and gave me the Nikon N2020 for my gift. I never owned any Nikkor AF lenses to use with it and stuck with my old Nikkor glass. It was a great camera, went everywhere in all kinds of weather and never failed me in many thousands of shots. I never dropped it either.
