I took this shot back in 1975 in Raleigh, NC. I had passed this solitary tree on a hill off I-40 many times without giving it much notice. Then one day after a few inches of snow, it suddenly came to life! Nikon F2, 50mm f/2 Nikkor-H and Panatomic-X film

Enjoy your snow. We were forecast to get 8 to 10 inches yesterday and it turned out to be a rain event. And I even had the snow blower gassed up and ready to go. No pictures for me :apologetic:

Don't mean to rub it in, but I will anyway:D. We had a high today of 62 and cloudless skies. Even now at 6:30 it is still 54. Life is GOOD!

But on the flip side, in not too long, I will have to start mowing the dang lawn again :mad:
