Sorry to deviate here slightly but if I may this is a snow related question for my newly acquired 35mm film camera.
I understand it is advisable to either over expose through your viewfinder metering or reduce the default iso setting. (iso200 film adjusted to iso100).
Are any of these methods preferable to eachother and if so why?

Snow you have to stop down or increase shutter speed or decrease iso/asa...I think that is right... :)
