I will let you guys know what I think as to how they compare, but I'm not expecting a huge difference. I like to carry two bodies, and my old D70 bodies are good, but I have become spoiled by the D7100. Now I will only have to carry one kind of battery and memory card with me, as well. I also wanted a bigger buffer for shooting BIF and sports. First world issues, I know. :)

If you get chance i would like to know how they compare at ISO 1600 which is the highest i use and how the Tamron focuses with it compared to the D7100.will put the money in the post :D

Nothing fancy. I don't have any CPL or ND filters. So I'm starting with these. If I like using them I'll buy better later. I didn't want the close up filters, they just came with the package!

Looking to get me some filters too.
Let me know how these ones turn out for you.

I'm leaning towards Hoya brand UV just to protect the front element on my more costly glass. My old vintage lenses will have to fend for themselves - the UV glass can cost half the price I paid for some of those lenses. I would want better quality that does not degrade the image.

I'm also toying with the idea of learning how to use the ND filters to get some interesting images - just for fun nothing serious enough to warrant the hundreds of dollars the top of the line stuff costs, but don't want filters that are no good at all. I think the colour cast that the less expensive stuff causes can be corrected using software.

I'll let you know. These filters are getting ok to decent ratings from various reviews. Once I narrow down which filters I want to go with. Then I'll be going with Hoya as well.

Joby camera sling tether cord for extra protection on my Nikon's! I bought 3 of them just in case I feel they are needed for large lenses too! :)
