It ain't much, but it's a 16' USB extension cord so I can do some tethered shooting to see how it looks on the big screen instead of the camera display. :)

My Lowepro cases arrived already. They're quite nice. One for the short stuff, one for the long. I had room left so I filled it up with the little crap.

Latest ebay find. New, OEM, Nikon 90th anniversary padded lens pouch for my 70-200. $15. Not bad since I was considering a Thinktank skin for much more.

With more dust and god knows what else on my D7100 sensor I have these on the way. Should be with me early next week:

So got these in the post and had a go tonight with them. First of all, the Loupe was useless. It magnified alright but perhaps not enough. I could make out any dust on the sensor looking through it. Got a nice rainbow effect of the sensor from the LEDs but it was of no use to me to see how successful my cleaning attempts were. It's going back to Amazon for a refund.

I used the eyelead gel stick at least half a dozen times on the sensor but it still has it still has dust on it. Going to send it in to the camera shop for a clean instead.

A frustrating evening.

Upgraded to this Samsung EVO 850 over the weekend and I wish I had done it a long time ago.

Cloned the existing install with the included software and was only offline for maybe an hour, start to finish. 500GB and about $75 on Amazon.

Raynox DCR-250 and a 10-stop ND filter for my 50mm 1.8G on the way (with a step-up ring to fit my kit lens as well). Ought to make for some fun in the Florida sun in a few months, and gives me time to practice with 'em in the meantime.

And the best part? $12.00!!! (plus my entire bank of Amazon points from the card, LOL)
