I thought I was done with pre-Christmas spending after getting the 20mm, but the DFW PhotoExpo had too good a deal to pass up (better than my lousy camera phone photo)

Why not sell one of your D300 bodies? With the D700, I highly doubt you will make use of 2 D300 bodies. And the money can then be applied towards something.

In a lot of ways, it was a big Arlington Camera sale, just at an off-site location. All sales went through Arlington Camera. But I still enjoyed the few hours I was there. Didn't get to do any of the seminars.

Well PK - they don't call it the "slow boat to China" without good reason. But 10 days? Really? I measure my wait time for orders from the orient in weeks not days, when it gets to months then I complain. (The "orient" sounds more sophisticated than just "China" eh?) Now stuff from down south in that US of A place, that can take only a week or three to get here.
