Ahh right, THAT trinity :p
I was looking for the 28/50/85 f/1.8 trinity and thought I was going loopy!

If I bought the trinity you've shown, my wife would not understand my NAS, and I would probably be RIP!

But think of all the money you'd save! ;)

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth or whatever the saying is, but these are not stellar money savers (well 15% on some).
I want to see 30% off - bet Nikon would still be making a gazillion % profit if they did!

I've been happy with the 10-24. Even though I'm planning to go FX, it's far enough out that I'll get a lot of use out of this lens.

The wide end opens things up for landscape and some crazy perspective close up shots. Used a Tokina 11-16 on DX and now 14-24 on FX with lots of enjoyment (and a few nice keepers). You'll love it.

I had the short range on halt until I decided if I'd go FX or not. There was little use in buying an FX wide and then stick it on a DX cam. I took a couple of shots and already love what it allows me to do. Out there it will be handy indeed since landscape didn't go well using a 50mm. ;)
