A week ago I cracked for a Konica Hexanon AR 135mm f3,2. I inherited a Konica Autoreflex T2 with 52mm f1,8 from my father (well he did not use it so gave it to me).
So I have been taking film pictures (4 to go before develpment) and I was amazed how bad the viewfinders of the modern DSLRs are compared to the great view and light in the Konica. Using the 135 on full frame made me really happy.

Still hunting for a good wide angle Hexanon.

I got an other body with the lens and the man threw in a vintage carry bag after an hour of photography talk.

Lately I've been thinking about a second body,( Am I related to Bill you might ask?!!) My goal was to reduce my lenses changes in the field. And have a second camera I won't think twice about keeping in the car for sudden photo ops. I won't do that with my 7100. But after looking around I found a decent camera that fits the bill. And I didn't break the bank on this.
Refurb. Nikon D3200
Vello battery grip
Dr. Watson battery.

Lol! Congrats buddy! Lol :p

But for the record, I won't leave a camera in the car. When I get out of the car so does any camera I got with me! Lol I'd be afraid of ending up with a fried nikon sooner or later. Besides I heard fried Nikon tasted awful! Lol :p

Cowboy studio 2 flash stands w/ softbox and reflector umbrellas, and Marumi DHG Circular P.L.D 77mm. Figured paying $50 more for marginally better performance of the Super version wasn't worth it. Especially since lighting equipment was only $60.

Well, I've had my D610 body for a couple of weeks now and I have been holding out trying to save up the money for some really nice glass, but today I cracked and spent some of it on a used Nikkor 24-85mm. I got a good deal on lens listed as 'never been out of the box' so I couldn't resist. I just need to start using this toy. Got a few more days to wait now for delivery, then I can start clicking the shutter and officially get in the Nikon club :D

Never say cracked and glass in the same post. Very bad karma! j/k. Enjoy your new lenses. Will be looking forward to seeing how it does.

Haha, i'll try and remember that.

You are not the only one looking forward to seeing how it does. I had to justify to my wife, why I needed another camera, so I'm hoping there's some sort of button on it or preset that I can set to 'miracle shot' ;)

I know what you mean. You should have seen my wife's expression when I ordered another kit last weekend!

A couple months ago, I went to buy a grip for my D7100, but the local store didn't have any Nikon ones. They had a 3rd-party which they highly recommended. However, while on my trip it stated to make intermittent contact with the body, so I lost some shots. So today, they returned the 3rd party grip, credited me the cost, and I paid the difference for an OEM Nikon grip. Hopefully no more non-firing shutter.

If the Nikon grip for the D7100 is anything like the Nikon grip for the D300, you'll love the quality! By far the best grips I've ever had, and I had several thitd party grips before finally getting my first Nikon grip! Lol :)

My D3200 came today with the spare battery and Vello grip. This will make a decent back up camera. It is a refurbished body. And it only has 75 clicks on it. Not bad for the price.
