Been pondering the Tamron 150-600 for quite a while, looking at varying reviews with the early Nikon version it seemed that there was an issue with AF so I held off. Then the new batch came out just recently and seeing what some folk had been producing I decided to get one.
A Nikon 600 prime it isn't but then at 25% the cost of even a S/H prime it does pretty well and I've been well pleased with what it's done for me so far. It's a lot lighter than a prime, which is a significant issue for me and when locked to minimum focus it's not much bigger than my Nikon 70-200 ... and it's got a 5-year warranty :)

Stupid me. I used the Lowepro bag finder to get the top loader bag for my D7100 and 55-300mm lenses. But I did not check to make sure it would also fit with the grip on it, DUH!
So, I ordered a Ruggard Hunter Pro 75. This bag is every bit as well made as the Lowepro. AND, it works perfect for my gripped 7100 with the 55-300 lenses with room to spare. The warranty isn't as good as a Lowepro. But I'm not rough with my gear anyway.
Anybody want a deal on a Lowepro Pro70 AW? I'll let it go for a for a good price for a member here before I send it back. I just spent 71.00 on it. If interested I'll post it properly in the market.

Update: The ColorMunki was not recognised by the software (v1.0.1) on the included CD. I downloaded the latest version from the Xrite website & all is now fine.
