Here's one I got last weekend from my backyard

I would use flash to enhance the oooziness of the creature.

I did. One off camera with the on-board flash with a diffuser used in commander mode.

Macro lens needed, but was able to catch this guy getting a sip of water.

This one wasn't that great because there were so many web strands around that it was tough to get a clear picture. Everytime I nudged up closer the male would scamper and then after a minute he'd come back to finish his work. Needless to say there was some brown chicken brown cow going on there.
