Visited Wakulla Springs in Florida and found these guys.

Wakulla Springs is a favorite place of my family. Did you spend the night at the lodge? I enjoy how there is only one TV at the place: it really causes you to connect with people, and enhances your visit.

I believe the subject is an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, BTW; they get water from mud or wet soil.

I was only there for a few hours it really is an amazing place.
Thanks for letting me know what kind of Butterfly it is.


If you ever get the chance, come visit again and spend the night at the lodge. It's really neat when the weather gets cold and they have a fire in the fireplace. Very pleased to know you enjoyed it, though.
