I always learn a little about the insects I shoot. I noticed these gray to white bumble bees. So, I thought they were bumble bees. I searched the web and found out they are not bumble bees. They are Cuckoo bees. The female lays eggs in other hives of bees and the bee will most times resemble and mimic the host. The top bee is the cuckoo bumble bee and the bottom one is a regular bumblebee. .
Thanks Pat! I was walking along a trail and just saw something white shining out in the marsh. It came out much better than I thought it would. He just sat there sunning himself.
