been away for a while, have been checking by from time to time though. Here a couple of IR pics from this weekends walk, nothing spectacular but its about time I started posting again

not been here for a while, as you can see from my signature I sold the D7100, made the jump to FUJI, however I still have IR dedicated D70 so you cant kick me out just yet

Let's resurrect this old but worthy thread. I had my old D80 IR converted this year and prior to that I was using my much older Coolpix 995 (converted).
Some of this year's work.
And I even was insane enough to try to shoot comet NEOWISE with the Tamron 90mm fitted. That was a fail. Focusing in the dark with an optical viewfinder as the only option is not good. I should have tried to find where infinity focus was in daylight.

Try focusing with the lens cap on to get infinity focus. It works with some lenses and not with others.
