Hi Brads, How big (size) of the Proteas blossom is? Small enough for a macro shot? I wonder.

Hi blackstar. The protea is one of many in my garden. Whilst the bush is only about 3 ft tall, it had about 50 flowers this year. Each bloom is about the size of a small fist.

I forgot about this Magnolia Stellata. Not in flower at the moment but beautiful when it appears in Spring.

As they blossom on Easter, the legend of the dogwood trees stays on... (4 petals resembling the Cross with smaller transverse ones, the center resembling the thorn crown as turning dark after Easter, each petal indented at the tip with a darkened shape resembling nail mark and blood wound, the thin trunk as a curse for being used to make the Cross)
