Quick studio shot with In Laws and my twins. Shot with Tamron 90mm, Phottix Indra500 main light with Westcott Rapidbox XXL and a Nikon SB600 in a 2x2 softbox on other side of them. Pop up backdrop on a lightstand held up with a reflector holder.

I'm trying to get the PP down on these fireworks shots and here are two more with a lot of export sharpening and two after that with minimal.untitled (1 of 2).jpguntitled (2 of 2).jpg




Less export sharpened.

Took some pictures of a charity run called Pound the Pavement. It was raising money for pancreatic cancer research and had a sort of mini Color Run. It was my first time shooting an event like this with the D500 and it is such a joy to no longer have a buffer limitation! I used my Tamron 70-200 for this and my D750 with 24-70 stayed in my bag except for a handful of shots at the end.

Shot with an 80-400 lens about 10 rows up from the floor. Very little noise! finally settled on settings of 1/1000 shutter and 8000 ISO and 5.6 aperture
