Just flipped through most of this thread and wow, it has opened my eyes to post processing. I think I am going to start shooting in RAW now. I haven't been doing it since I don't do much editing and it seemed like my fps dropped with RAW+JPEG (Fine).

I'm a big fan of raw, but there is a lot of learning involved in postprocessing. Just saying, so you don't expect too much too quickly. :)
Though my buddy J-see can seem to make it work like magic, it is harder than it seems! Lol But maybe it will be easier for you! I'm just a slow learner likely, and even if your not great at it and a slow learner like I am, it still allows you to do a lot without lowering the quality of the file! While a jpeg being post processed does lose a little every time you mess with it!
I hope to one day be half as good at it as J-see is, and I'll be happy! Lol :)

Nothing as fun as something challenging.

Thought I'd give RT a try.
@J-see are you using Raw Therapy on your Mac and if so what version are you running and what OS X release.

I use the version for 10.10 you can download on site; 4.2.1. There's no newer release for 10.10 yet. But I also use Affinity Photo for Mac which does a good job when it comes to shadows/highlights.

Be prepared to get a slider overdose. ;)
