I have. I spent most of the 80's and the early 90's with a SOF magazine in one hand and the Shotgun News in the other. Stupidest thing I ever did... 1) I sold my pre ban Chinese AK for $300 2) I didn't buy an Enigma machine for $100 when I had the chance.

I've never owned a gun, but i've always fancied doing some clay shoots with a monstrous 12 gauge, but i have 2 hobbies already, and funding another is out of the question

I used to be pretty big into it but I rarely shoot anything anymore except photos. My oldest son is always PO'd because I won't take him out but his grandpa does so he'll have to settle for that. (What he doesn't know is that through me he owns several nice long guns and a few pistols he has just never seen them or heard about them.)

Most interesting guns I have ever shot are full auto weapons. They are a trip! Also a few years back I got to play with a Ruger Mark II silenced 22. Now that was way cool with subsonic longs all you could hear when you pulled the trigger was the action sliding back and forth.

One of the things my son doesn't understand is how come I don't mess with the guns with him. (I have in the past a few times but only on a lark when my brotherinlaw had a shotgun or pistol playing with it so we all shot it) The reason is simple and I tell him hey that are not things to play with they are used to get it on and there is no point in having one out unless you are ready to get it on. He doesn't get it. And I hope he never has to learn about it either.

You'll never see my gun...until I shoot you. That is how I roll. :)

Excellent pistol with a super scope. I had a similar custom setup in .45LC. I'm assuming yours is .44 mag. I used to hand load mine to more than 50% over the maximum formulas. I was going to use it for bear hunting.

Yes, I hand loaded also. A sweet trigger and it has always been spot-on.
