Re: nidding's first year of shooting

Day 255
Out in the woods, just north of Copenhagen, lies a little red cottage. Here they serve the most wonderful food! I went with a group of friends, with whom I have been saving to go visit this cottage. It was my first visit to a restaurant with a Michelin star, but, wow, I hope I will get this opportunity another time :)

Day 257
This turned out horrible!
My friend from the previous photo ran a half marathon this day,, and I wanted to have a picture as he ran by. However, I hadn't taken my time to shoot a few test shots and as he passed by my 55-200 stalled on me and refused to lock focus. I paniced and only got this out of focus, badly composed photo. Better luck next time, I hope...

Day 258
The mail man got me a little something today - my brand new sigma 10-20 f/4-5.6 :D :D :D
Also Dagmar is 5 months today, so I tried to combine the two

And finally I took a walk in the woods

I really look forward to learn how to utilize this lens. So far it seems really fun to shoot with, and very different from how I usually think a photo.

Please clone out her beard. I love the photo but that hair right there is distracting.
Nice shots Jonas ans so sorry to read bout your loss.
Your right. Have not taken my time with pp the last weeks. But that definitely needs to get cloned out! Thanks for noticing :)

And thanks, Lawrence. I have had a hard time getting ideas for photos over the last month, but I think I might be starting to pick up a bit of inspiration these days. Can't say if it shows on the photos, though ;)

Appreciate the thought :)

Your work is definitely improving and I put it down to enthusiasm and willingness to try new things.
Enjoy the new lens and give Dagmar a hug from his mate in New Zealand - too cute

Thanks :) She (Dagmar is a girls' name, @Lawrence ;)) makes all these silly, silly faces, so she's a great source of amusement to her family. And I gave her a hug, Lawrence. I now owe you a drool dripping baby hug in return :D

My bad.

But she isn't even cuter now that I know its a girl. The pink top should have been a hint! DUH!!!!

I love these last 2 photos - especially the passage one.

Honest mistake. I guess our scandinavian names all look like Thjorolf, Sigtrud and Ragna to outsiders, and as we donn't dress her in a particularly girly fashion, you are not he irstone to be mistaken :)

Thank. It sure is a fun lens to shoot with, so here's another one

The street lamp should have been removed, but couldn't get to the computer with photoshop, so that has to wait
