Don't know how I managed to get so far behind with your thread Jonas, but I've certainly enjoyed catching up. Some great shots there. Your little Dagmar is growing up fast. She'll be walking before you know it :D

She sure is, Vixen! it's almost a bit scary, but also very exciting to watch at close hand :)
Thank you. I'm happy and honoured that you enjoyed the catch up. Right now I myself am way behind on all the threads I follow, so at some point I will also have the joy of watching all of you guy's pictures. Looking forward to that :)

Congratulations on the new lens Jonas! Wide lenses add a great quality to shots of buildings / urban areas.

I sure do like it so far. There certainly is a learning curve with an UWA, but I think I will like this lens for a long time to come :)

Whew... I thought I was the only one that needed to catch up on everything! Looking good Jonas!
Hah. Not at all, buddy! I haven't been up to date on more than a few threads at a time for quite a while now. I hope that I will be able to remedy that at some point.
Glad you like my photos :)

Day 271
A test that didn't quite work out as hoped
Day 262
Had another go, that I like way better. I was trying to create a shallow DOF on a photo that would not normally have one. I have seen some really cool photos that look like a model landscape, because of this trick. I didn't quite get there yet, but with a suitable motive, I think I should be able to pull it off

Also took a quick walk in the forest and saw some cool shadows

I thought most of the model like landscapes were done with tilt shifting effect in pp'ing. Maybe you can teach me something here then Jonas when you get it right :D

Turns out you are absolutely right :) Well, that just means I will have to learn to use that tool as well, and as a bonus I now know a little about faking a shallow DOF. Thanks for the clarification though :)

Wides are tougher but a lot of fun and when you get it down you can get some really nice shots/compositions!

my fish tank at work is under a 3 day black out to kill off the cyano bacteria, thanks for the heads up Jonas, i was thinking it was algae, the only time i had cyano it was a green film that set all over the tank, thats why i didnt think this was cyano. i will take a pic tomorrow and keep you posted.

Yeah, it comes in many different colours. None of them a pleasant one ;)
Hope you have good luck getting rid of it :)
I just got a tuxedo urchin for my aquarium, and it's munching algae like it has been there for months already. I hope it can make an impact on my thread algae :)

Day 265
No fish today. But we're in the right element. Have posted these corals before, but I really like the colours and they are good practice, I think :)
