Day 276
We went to a small island called Austr Åmøy (haha, try to pronounce that, non-Scandinavians :D) where there has been found a huge collection of bronze age petroglyphs. Obviously I had to bring the camera

(The archeologists had been kind enough to help us tourists with a bit of red paint. Otherwise I think it would have been very hard for us to find but a fraction of the carvings)

i am with you on heights. The person sitting on the edge give me goosebumps. i like your self portrait shot, i see why norwegians live mainly along the coast.
Exactly. I actually find it even worse when others are climbing on high places than when it's myself who's up high, so the stay on preikestolen was a bit hard on my nerves, to say the least. I had brought a stove to roast some hotdogs and make some coffee, but I actually had to leave and drink my coffee elsewhere, just to get to relax for a few minutes before the descend :)

Day 277
Today we had another 12 hours of traveling, to get back home, so I didn't have time to shoot anything special. Dagmar had her first visit to a restaurant, however, which she apparently found pretty exciting

Day 283
Okay I'll try to keep the camera away from the fish tank for a while. Last one...
I had two corals engaged in some chemical warfare. I moved this one, which looked to be loosing. Its lower tissue was severly damaged, and it still has its stinging threads out

Enjoyed catching up, and LOVE those landscapes with the 10-20! 85mm is next on my list, though, so ignoring the urge to find a nice wide-angle... (for now)

Glad you enjoyed it :)
And yeah, I'm really glad I went with a wide angle. I too am going with a 85 next, but a f/3.5 macro for me. I really need to get myself a proper macro lens!

Re: nidding's first year of shooting

Thanks guys.
I just realized that I made quite a stupit mistake on this one. I cloned out a tower from a nearby amusement park on the top side. Well, look closely, and you'll see that there's something I didn't think about :D

Day 287
I'm trying to sell my 18-55 and 28 f/2.8, so I went out to take some test shots to show how they perform. This is from the 28

Oh and did I say WHY I'm selling the lenses?

Because I JUST BOUGHT AN 85 F/3.5 MACRO. Expect close ups, people :D

I should have it by Friday, now it's just about the waiting...
