Day 165
A lot of family shots coming up here at the moment. Hope you can take it :) After all, being able to take great photos of the family is my main reason to be in this project ;)

We went out geo caching for the first time, and my girl is here filling out the log in one of the caches we found.

...btw. 200 days to go! They will probably be harder than the ones that have passed so far :)

This is a great image with a cool story

My wife an I love to go Geocaching, it is a lot of fun. We actually found Jimmy Hoffa on one of them but decided not to swap his remains for tennis ball!. We just left our names.

Geocaching is great family fun. I always loved the places I discovered that were right under my nose and geocaching brought me to it.

Yeah! I'm pretty sure this will not be out last geo run together. I've done a very little of it before, but without kids, I actually feel a bit silly. But with a kid, it's just perfect fun for the family :)

Day 166
So you think to yourselves "can that REALLY be a gold building?" The answer is yes! The local school of commerce have found it suitable to build themselves a golden house. While some might find it very pompous and lacking any sort of insight in how the common people might see such a statement, I just enjoy the opportunity for a photo. But man, would I love a sigma 10-20 to take this one. The kit lens has to do for now.

I think I need to do it too! The only problem is really a lack of good subject matter....but I guess I can find something good to take pictures of! You're motivating me!

Re: nidding's first year of shooting

I can only say "go for it"! I've had a lot of days where I simply had zero ideas for photos (which clearly shows throughout this thread), but I can also feel that the routine it gives to take photos every single days, just makes it so much easier to create more interesting photos out of subjects that would have been totally lacking inspiration for me before. It is hard at times - but it's also very rewarding :)

Great images, Nidding! I really like the rocks, stilleben and the circus - but your baby shots are REALLY great too, light and bright :)

Thanks a lot @wud :)
Those are pretty much my own favourites from the last weeks, so I'm happy that you like them. Actually the rocks I more or less only did for the heck of it as I don't really fancy the foggy water effect. It's not that it doesn't look cool, but it is simply just over used. I mean, go to a site like 500px or similar and half of the water in the photos there will be all foggy and soft. It kind of looses it's coolness factor then. But I'm happy that people like the photo anyway. Then at least I must have gotten something right :D
