That is pretty cool.
I have been using the same leather wallet for 22 years. How do I know it is 22 years old? I purchased it as a gift to myself when I got my first job out after grad school. I spent way too much on it to get rid of it. EVER! Well, maybe next year.

Sometimes you get what you pay for :) I'd expect that over all you would have had to pay more, if you had went with cheaper wallets that would have fallen apart after a year or two :)
And hey, at this point you must be quite attached to that old wallet. Think of all the things you have done with that in your bag :)

Edit: I guess this is in essence what @mikew just said ;)

Never been able to hold on to a wallet that long. I wear them out. Mine is a leather motorcycle jacket I bought in 1971. I wore it a long time. Gave it to my son when it shrank a bit and now my grandson has it. Still in decent shape.... I would still have it had it not shrunk.. :)

Second try for a wallet. Still I need to improve my stitching and make some more minor adjustments. But I think this is way better than the first.
Would something like this work for you, @Roy1961? Maybe in a darker brown and with a simple nikonites logo in black on the front?
