showing off for the camera

I think so Don. While I was walking I passed some guy with a Sony camera. I asked if he saw anything interesting. He said he got some of the best shots of a Glossy Ibis he ever got. Came across the Glossy about a half hour later and yes, it did put on a show.

Since I looking for the Gopher Tortoise I had the 18-200mm lens on. We've been to this area before and I never saw any birds. Well, today I wish I had the 55-300mm lens, but I don't think I did to bad when I saw this Osprey.

Didn't see the fish until about 10 shots later.

Some great shots my friend! And I'm liking those spider shots! Great catches! :D

Thanks Bill. I felt the web on my arm and when I turned I was almost face to face with that huge spider. This was the closest I've ever been to them. Not my idea of fun!!

great shot with the fish. I looked up the park you were in. It is an oasis in the middle of the populated area. Nice to see

There are two trails. One is cement and 1/4 mile. The other is 3/4 mile and very sandy. There's also a sandy trail all around the perimeter. I walked both trails and some of the perimeter. I was the only person there.

I know what you mean! Lol I'm almost phobic of spiders, but they fascinate me! Cool to look at, but couldn't stand them on me or even coming at me, rather they are poisonous or not! Lol :D
