I always enjoy seeing all your bird photos. Was this fish jumping? That is a great shot of it.

Thanks Don. I missed the actual catch. The heron was pecking it when I first came upon them. Also, I was in a bad spot, trees covering the herons head. I walked a tad and when I turned I was able to see the heron completely. At first I thought he was a bad fisherman since he kept pecking at the water and coming up empty. All of a sudden, he picked up that fish, he appeared to drop it, then picked it up again. When he dropped it, he pecked at it repeatedly. I did hang around for about 15 minutes but don't know what happened next.
