Thanks Mike and Pat for being there with me. I don't usually do that, but that calender thing was driving me crazy. I was trying to show some one a photo and that's all she wrote.

This one looks prehistoric

Probably the angle Mike. Can't remember if it's smaller than the regular Cormorant or a little larger. I think it's smaller.

A couple of months ago I shot a full day outside with white balance set to fluorescent, the eyes aren't what they used to be.

Haven't been able to shoot Glossy Ibis lately. They've been to far back. Couldn't get this one to come out from behind the green stuff.

Last week only saw a couple of Great Egrets. Lots of nesting areas over the last three days.

I've never seen one of these guys on land, only in the water.

Pied-billed Greebs can hardly walk because of their foot contraction. They can swim like crazy, but can only sort of stumble around on land.

Thanks for that info Woody. I did get some clear shots of one underwater a few weeks back. It's amazing how they swim/glide underwater.
