Yesterday was our 41st wedding anniversary. We drove north 1.5 hours to one of our favorite restaurants and enjoyed garlic clams steamed in Guiness, then frog legs, gator bites, fish and mosquito chips. Oops, should be mesquite chips. From there, we headed south. I've been wanting to go to the Jupiter Lighthouse and the nature preserve across the road from the lighthouse. On the way, we passed the Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge (Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge). A little further down, we saw an Osprey nest and decided to go back to the refuge. Now, we live in a very flat area in FL, so we weren't prepared for the rolling hills of Hobe Sound. I meant to bring the 18-200mm or the 55-300mm along since we drove, but I forgot. The Tamzooka doesn't really show the ups and downs of the trial, but trust me, they were there.

Even though a day late, Happy Anniversary to you and Chris, Marilynne.
At one time, nearly 30 years ago, I lived in Jupiter. I went back a few years ago and didn't recognize the place. What was the restaurant you dined at? We used to go to one up in that area named "Some Place" but I couldn't find it when I went back and no one knew of it when I asked. I do have many memories of Hobe Sound, especially of the Blowing Rocks Preserve. With the right tide and a good sunrise, some wonderful photos could be had!
Slainte!!
