I didn't have much of it for a shot so I practiced my hand held technique. For a 1/20s shot hand held, I'm still OK.

Well, I've been having some manual focusing problems with my D600 since I changed the focusing screen. It did show with all lenses, but was more apparent with my Rokinon 85 1.4 @1.4.

So I took the bull by the horns and finally inserted some shims under the focusing screen to fine tune my manual focusing. Here is a before and after with the 1.4.

August 19th, following the focusing screen adjustment, I just wanted to feature the sharpness of this Rokinon 85 1.4 at 1.4. I find it simply amazing.

August 19th, I have to add this one or these several should I say. A few merged pics that I took about in the middle of my 50 km cycling ride today. D600 with the light 28-80 plastic lens :)

August 20th, Line and I went to gather wild flowers last night and she really enjoys arranging them so I took a souvenir shot this morning. Now, I used the straight jpeg (basic small 1.6 mp file) from the d700. I guess MPs don't really show that much for web posting. Here's the full shot and a 100% crop.

Absolutely not. This young one was a little strange as a matter of fact. At first we thought he was sick or something. He just came to the little water fountain and didn't seem too scared about us being around. He flew back and forth and just was kind of friendly. No lures were used.
