August 6th,

Practice for colorful bokeh is leading to nicer and nicer pictures. As much as I'm tempted to post my 3rd entry, I'll wait a bit to see if I can get something even better.
Two shots with the D600, Sigma 105 macro + 24mm Kenko extension tube.

Wow! :eyetwitch: Marcel, I don't know if you ever read comments I've made to Jake about a few of his photos looking 3D to me. I don't see in 3D although there are times when something appears more like 3D than when I look at something in person. This flower looks like it is sticking out of the frame! I love seeing this type of photo because it is so rare to experience 3D. And in case you are wondering, I don't watch 3D movies. I tried the glasses a couple of times, but I get a headache and see double with them.

Love this--in fact, it just made my day!

August 10th, a few more macros this morning. Now I'll have too much choice and won't know which one to choose for my last entry for the Colorful Bokeh Assignment...

August 12th, As my cycling camera (back pocket) is the X-10, today's pics were done with it.

Sand sculpture that was waiting for me after the 2km climb (average 7%) in freaking hot temperature.

I feel I have to post a picture done with a Nikon at least to compensate the X-10 pics on my thread.

August 14th, back to the D7000 with Tamron 17-50 2.8. Sharp lens this one is. I don't know if I was just plain lucky, but I can't find a fault to this nice lens.

Simply morning mist:

Blasted power lines!!

I know Jake. They do spoil the landscape wherever they are. I've taken out the apparent ones but didn't want to spend the time on their shadows. I'll probably get back there earlier in the morning with my Nikon (by car :) ).
