April 25th. We attended a cooking class yesterday and it gave me the opportunity to take a few shots. D600, 24-70 2.8, iso 2000.

It's been a while since I posted here. I guess there is a life outside Nikonites.

I experimented with slow shutter speeds and intentional motion blur. I find the results to be interesting, not award winning, but interesting stuff happening in this shot.
D7000, 300 AF-D f4, 1/8s hand held.

And I'm getting to find out how hard it is to do bird shots, even from my feeder. Dull low light didn't help me since I had to use iso 1600.

May 8th

I had time to take a slow walk into the woods nearby with my Sigma 105 macro and the D600. Iso was 1250 and aperture around f8. As you can see, this lens is stellar IMHO.

May 13th.

With spring, life's coming up from the ground. To me, just seeing what Mother Earth can bring up makes me believe in a Higher Power.

Few macros with the D600 and Sigma 105. Iso 1000.

All 3 great, but that 3rd shot is a jaw-dropper! And I agree with ya... all the tiny little details, gotta be a big Hand up there somewhere conducting this orchestra!

Sorry, but I can't seem to stop myself from being marveled by this new Life coming up from the ground. It's still quite a Mystery to me.

May 25th, we planted the garden today and will hope it won't freeze... The wild apple tree is beginning to boom and nature will never cease to amaze me.
