Yesterday's light was a bit poor but I was taken by the simplicity of a flower's birth.

As I was going to a book launching from a writer friend, I caught a glimpse of a car show so I had to stop and shoot a few.

My father used to have a car this color but a 58:

And I certainly remember this model as well since this is a 58:

After a long day of work and dinner, around 9:30 pm I saw the clouds and just couldn't resist trying a hand held shot.

My first 2015 wild rose, picked yesterday is already lost it's newborn beauty, but still looks very good.

Water drops on a leaf made my morning shot,

Same shot but cropped even more shows water falls in that center drop.

One OK and one almost pics from this afternoon. It was way too windy to even try macro... but I guess I'm stubborn.

Line called me out in the yard because she'd found a huge spider in the garder watering can. I was a bit skeptical at first but brought my D700 with sigma 105 macro out anyway. Well, this was one of the most hugely huge things I've ever seen. Sensitive persons beware.

Here is another one from yesterday.

I was shooting some TINY little blooms after the rain yesterday, and worked some of their buds into the picture. Nature never ceases to amaze!

THIS shot... absolutely stunning! You always have something worth a second look and a like, but this is one of your best in my memory!

Wow, Thanks for the compliment @Pretzel. The funny thing is that I just happen to take a shot of a dead flower. Even I was surprised at the impact of the final image.

It's come to the point where I have to post my "Almost" shots... I guess I've worked too much the last weeks...

I'm trying hard to get bees in flight but they are just too fast for me. And, the wind factor certainly doesn't help with macro shots. These were taken with my Rokinon 85 1.4 and 2 Kenko extension tubes. 12+22mm. Both straight out of camera jpegs without any corrections whatsoever.

I chased bees most part of the afternoon, hoping to get good shots of bees in flight. Results are not as great as I wished, but I got a few interesting shots.

Does anyone else see the uncanny resemblance? ;)
