Organic labyrinth taken this morning with fresh snow on the ground. Seems our country is paying for some mysterious sins committed over the past centuries.

A few weeks ago I lost my Df's eyepiece ... It came unscrewed and fell somewhere in Quebec City. So I finally got myself a DK17M magnifying eyepiece which, combined with my new split-screen focusing screen is helping quite a bit for manual focusing.

Here are todays shots with it.

When I first bought my N70, it had a screw-on eye piece. I think they offered screw-on diopter pieces so I replaced mine. Lost it while photographing camp kids in the pool but went back and fortunately found it lying on the concrete. When I bought an N90s, the eyepiece was completely different so no worries about losing it.

Glad you were able to get a magnifying eyepiece. Does it affect the view within the viewfinder? What I mean is do the edges of the photo still show up within the viewfinder since it is a magnifying eyepiece?

I can see all the image although the sides are a bit darker and I do have to move my eye around to be able to see all the infos in the bottom.

But, for focusing purposes, it's just fantastic. My focusing accuracy has improved a lot. It will now be great to use the 1.4 and 1.2 lenses.

It had been a while since I last used my D700. Just to make sure it's still great I chased our cat for a shot. Seems the cat is getting tired of my pet portrait sessions. But the D700 never gets tired of producing excellent images.

At last a few images done today while visiting Quebec City. In a parc just outside of Quebec City, there is this fall.

Today's lunch as a side dish to a salmon fillet, just amazing how fresh and organic food can be satisfying.
Processed from the small jpeg from camera.

A few flower shots that didn't make it to the May Assignment. Maybe they should have made it, but my choice was made.
