31st August

8 months down!!

Not such a good day today - disappointing but I was concerned about the rain on my gear more than anything else.

I came across a farmyard that I intend to visit again. The animals had free rein and if there were any humans around they were not visible to me - but did get the eerie feeling I was being watched.

The first subject had no qualms about sniffing around my feet and chasing anyone else who wanted to do similar away!

The second subject must have been a Regimental Sergeant Major in a previous life!

1st September

Officially the start of Spring but you would never know it going by the weather. However that is an observation more than a complaint as summer must be out there somewhere.

Great shots! The girl you approached was a nice photo shoot. It goes to show that a model doesn't have to be gorgeous (in the traditional model sense) to be photogenic and perfect!

3rd September

Have a friend arrive from Australia and not time for photos. Took one shot (and one only) of a plane coming in to land.
Not my best but I am still in.

Did a few portraits with my mate. They can't be too bad as he used decided to use this one for his FaceBook profile.

Visitors can sure throw you off your stride. Photography takes a back seat when you have 35 years to catch up on.

Like Vixen, I can never get myself to approach strangers to ask to take their photo. But hat's off for you, mate

19th August

Not much time for photos today but I did buy some unusual green chicken eggs yesterday which I wanted to show you guys.
So I took a quick flash shot of them this morning and have had some fun in Perfect Effects 8 tonight to doll them up.

As a post script I regret to advise that 2 of the green eggs did not make it beyond breakfast. :confusion:

Really liking this shot! I could see someone decorating the kitchen with this!

I wasn't totally happy with that tractor so i went back and redid it.
Now this I am happy with.
