what software did you use to process pano? Jpeg or raw? What was file size b 4 resize?

I got the size wrong, it was 920mb after converting to .psd.

Nope, I never could justify (afford) the price of PS so never messed with any associated programs.

I suppose my confusion on this type of photography started here --> Photosynth - Capture your world in 3D.

Is it a panograph, composite, panorama, collage ????????????

One tip I got ages ago when taking panos is to leave a mark eg a finger pointing in at the finish and start of each. I am thinking this may be beneficial in Africa when I loose track of everything.

I usually shoot one with my hand over the lens.

Yeah, the second was one that I struggled with. It's a hill in front of my house, and there's no good place to shoot it without getting stuff you don't want in the way. I probably should have come in a little on both ends.
