068/365

I need to get back into doing these every day. We have FINALLY had a break in the weather here and spring has sprung and I have just been enjoying it.

Our weather may have broke here as well. I would have liked to see you take this shot. I have some identical tulips that just came up and I see no way in H@#* that I could pull this shot off. I will try though!!! Nicely done.

Thanks. You will never know if you can pull it off unless you try right? I was sitting on the ground and held the camera out on the ground and shot blind. Took a few shots to fine tune the settings, and it worked out. I was bummed because the tulips were at full perfect bloom yesterday, and by the time i finished my yard work and grabbed the camera, they had closed up for the night. Today they were nice, but not AS nice.

I would title this shot as...

"Ants View of a Tulip"

Fantastic shot!

I agree with Pete, Great shot! I'll be joining you on the ground later this week, my Lilly of the Valley are just starting to bloom and I what to do a Micro on them. After my Lilly's come up my Peonies will start around the first week of June.

Joe, this is an absolutely awesome shot! I love everything about it, even the lens glare is appropriate. Very dramatic and just screams "spring is here!!" Excellent work!

Very interesting point of view of a tulip that had never seen. Original and neat. I like.

Christine, I think you just dry the roots and make a tea out of it.
I'd rather have the wine!

Well, THATS a real pisser!

LOL Good one, Pete!

Hi Guys. Thanks for your concern. We have been dealing with an unexpected death in the family (too young)... and having had a bit of a health scare myself....my mind has been a wreck the past couple weeks. Im not out of the woods yet, but everything is looking positive so far, (heart related)....I have also been spending time in the garage plugging away on my car, since that is a form of meditation and relaxation for me. I haven't forgotten about you all...pics will be coming soon again!!
