I have literally got out of bed to take and post what will I hope will be my only truly random rush shot. I totally forgot to take one. So with just 25 minute left of today, we have the messy table. Thank you and good night......

That's not a messy table James. That is quite tidy :D I can picture you hopping out of bed to do a pic in a panic......thanks for amusing me at the beginning of what I know is not going to be an enjoyable day :D

You pictured it correct vixen. It was indeed a panic moment. I've at times been short of inspiration but short of time too, now that's a new one. Hopefully its the only time it happens (I do how ever doubt it).

You are bound to have times where you have little or no time to prepare a photo during a 365, so well done and keep going, your other shots are great!

P.S - Putting bananas in the fruit bowl will cause the other fruit to go off quicker.... :p

SteveH, I have told my wife countless times about bananas in the fruit bowl. But she has OCD and well fruit lives in the fruit bowl.....

Ok today we have photos from the dog walk along castle eden walkway...

Cheers Nikonpup, The bench shot. I tried to Mix the old with the new as this is an old train station now used as a coffee shop on the castle eden walkway. I though cropping the turning the station side sepia would be a fun way of doing it.

This is actually part of the same route I was walking (and photoing) yesterday. Its part of the National cycle network. This is on route 1 which you can ride from Scotland all the way to London (and beyond I think). Ok that's the geography lesson for the day now im off out for some ale!

Some things can't be bettered... like motion blur. I would guess you either were not using a tripod, or, didn't use the mirror up option when you shot this one. :(

OR...like I often do, forget to turn off IS/VR while using a tripod :( Same result :(

Also....James did you use auto focus? Low light makes it hard for auto focus to work. Helps to shine a torch on the subject until you get a focus, then turn auto focus off to take the shot, otherwise the camera just tries to refocus when you press the shutter button.

I'm only using macro filter at present. This was to confirm that I indeed require a proper macro lens. I guess I know where the money from the sale of the bridge photo is going now just to decide which one to buy...

Pitty to as I was fancying a wide angle. Guess it will have to wait. Cheers for the input guys its much appreciated.

Work out what you would like most. Might as well get the lens you are likely to use most ;) I like my Nikkor 105 macro lens :D
