Another busy night so its a macro style shot. Hope my busy nights my be subsiding now and I may get out and do some new stuff soon.

I like this. It is simple, but there is nice texture in there and a nice DOF

OK so I know its nothing arty but its shot for the day. These are my new toys, grad filters, slide holder, holder ring and a new upgrade battery so I can shoot longer (when I eventually get out) and spend more time learning about photography.

Ok so today I unpacked my macro filters and went to the garden to play with the flowers. This is the result... Maybe should have got them when it was a tad lighter but I'm still a learner....

You can use a reflector for more light Or maybe just card board or white paper, if you don't have an reflector.

Cheers wud, I truely never even thought about that... My next investment is a propper macro lens maybe a tamron sp af 90 or a sigma 105 macro. Just don't know which one is the better of the two...

I am VERY pleased with my 105 macro. But maybe ask around if anyone have tried both?

I have the 90mm and love it and get some great shots with it, but if you are wanting to get insects and especially skittish ones go for a longer macro. Ironwood has great success with his.

Out on a wander (after buying fresh feta cheese from a random Greek man who just happened to have the creamiest feta ever tasted) we got some nice shots on our walk.

Cheers snaphappy, The feta went well with the potato's. No out door oven for me charcoal all the way lawrance! Always like a little blackness on my bbq'd food add to the flavor randyspann!
