Time for a couple more Plod pics. Taken with the Nikon 105 f2.8 VR.

Some fruit from a Quandong tree, the birds love them.

This poor little bird must have fallen out of the nest.

Brad, when I clicked on the link, it was invalid, then Malwarebytes popped up and stated it blocked something from happening on my computer. Guess it didn't block it well enough since now I keep getting a spoolsv .exe error. Ran a full scan and found nothing.
Sorry if this has caused you any problems Marilynne.
I didnt have any problems with my computer , but to be sure I have deleted the link from my post, so nobody else gets caught..
If Anyone is curious about the tree, you can just google it.

I rebooted and don't seem to have the problem any more. What's really weird is when it happened, it didn't recognize my camera at all and did after the reboot.

We have a tree similar here in FL called Gumbo Limbo, aka the tourist tree, because of the peeling bark.

Well I have decided to continue with this "Plod" thread for 2014, as I don't expect to contribute daily again this year.

So here is my 1st "Plod" pic for the year.

Happy New Year Brad. Glad to see I'm not the only one not going for the 365.

Thanks Marilynne. A happy New Year to you as well.

I have decided I will continue my trend of posting when time suits. I think if I tried to post everyday, it would possibly take the fun out of it for me, as I am tied to my business 7 days a week.
One day I hope things will change and I will have the time to shoot everyday just for the pleasure of it, then I will probably attempt a 365 thread.

These were my thoughts too and you brought it in great words. So I hijack your thoughts and ad me on them.

I went for a walk with the 70-300VR on the D7100 hoping to see a bird or 2, I think the heat is keeping them away hiding in the bush.

I did see a couple of Kangaroos making the most of the shade under my mango trees.

Brad, excellent... Not something I get to see here unless it is in a zoo...

Cheers Pat.
They are so commonplace around here, I am usually guilty of only taking photos of them if there is nothing else around.
I should set myself the task of trying to get a few really excellent shots of them, worthy of hanging on a wall.
