I agree, I would love to figure out how to do HDR without it looking so "edited". But so far, no ;)

HDR with 5 exposures, 1 stop between

Just 1 of the images, roughly edited normal way

Lol, you are right. Its just me, who hasnt really figured out how to use that HDR PS program yet, I find it very hard NOT to get it looking like HDR.

Me too, i still go overboard. However, I process to print which tends to tone down the final product.

A single exposure "simulated" HDR through Photomatix light,

Tonemapping a single shot seems to work good where no sky is involved

It just occurred to me that I have not yet taken advantage of the bracketing feature on my D7000 for HDR. DOH! I'm still snapping, adjusting, and snapping. I gotta hit the manual again!

The other thread is closed.....:highly_amused:

Well, I read the bracketing chapter. :D
The infamous 'Barn' done in 8 photo HDR. Not going for realism yet. Too hot to do anything else today.

After raining most of the day, the sun made an appearance this afternoon. I headed to White Point after supper. These are what I'll post from that.
