Awesome photo. My mother has a Saluki and a greyhound who perform leaps from the earth like this, never thought it would make such an amasing photo!

I love this one. Perfect placement. The notch in the tree line helps frame the dog. The clouds seem to radiate out from the dog. It almost looks like you suspended the dog from a crane with wires and then photoshoped out the wires later.
Great shot.
Obvious not my dog ;-) Had a 2 hour trip with this lovely dog, an italien greyhound. Got loads of pictures, but these first 2 are my favorites, I think. Was so great to be able to focus 100% on the camera, the dog were such a sweetheart and she even liked me although she did think some of our ideas were a little off, lol. Got some where she sends me "the eye".

Also from today, Im having doubts weather I used Active D-Lighting. Been trying it out a bit, but thought I set it for off, hmm. Dont you think it looks wierd that the dog is so bright at the side we see, when the sun is behind him?
Didnt do anything with contrast or brightness.

You are going to have to go outside a shoot the same shot at every ADL settings and remember which order you shot them in. That is what I did and actually like the results when used in the correct setting. I generally set mine in Auto ADL and let it see the amount of contrast.
Your mileage may vary.
I did do that. And thats why I'm pretty sure I turned it off again but maybe I forgot and did it later. I was walking around and took pictures of dark stuff, with spot meter. Hmm, just think it looks ... not really possible.
Btw, its iso 200, f/22, 1/100.
What do you mean with mileage?
What do you mean with mileage?
If you are so positive then ;-)
What you always see on new car sticker right after the show you what gas mileage it should get. In other words, how this will work for you might be different than the way it works for me.
Hehe, no Im not sure at all now. Oh well, I'll try again tomorrow.
I am old and senile so I have an excuse for forgetting.
