I had a buddy with a Samoyed when I lived in south TX. The dog spent most of his time indoors during eight months of the year. Really cool dog though... like a big friendly cotton ball.Yep, Texas gets a little hot for long haired dogs, unless they can come inside to escape the heat
Very kind of you both! Honestly, I'm not that often satisfied with my results.
I think that is the way with a lot of photographers. It just makes us work that much harder. The thing that sets you apart from everyone else here is the dogs. Many people shoot their pets and many shoot landscapes but you do both at the same time and in the same shot. That makes you unique.
A few more from yesterday, and some from today. Had to go back to the same place, dogs were pretty excited.
This one I like! Guess its the movement that makes it good.

I love your dog photos. You are lucky your dog seems to like to pose. Mine could care less, but two of my cats are total camera hogs. They start to pose as soon as they see me with my camera in hand.

My oldest dog were a poser since puppy (crazy poser, he had a specifik way he wanted to stand, guess he thought he looked best that way), but recently it seems that he think its boring. Youngest one never really cared for posing. So I started praising them for doing it, and we are back on track. At least when I got the meatballs.
Never though of that before. I will have to get a sign "Will Pose For Meatballs" Would have helped earlier when my wife was trying to get my picture. I did post it in my blog today. Wasn't to bad considering the subject.
Fun aside. Another good dog shot today.
L get her to set up the tripod and camera settings for you and then you could snap the picture yourself with a remote..
I promise I didn't read this before I posted in the same thing in your blog Don!
Great minds think alike wud!
How do you think I got the shoulder hurt to begin with? I asked her to carry something. She may be a little old lady school teacher but she has a first degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and she also has a conceal carry permit.
Pics look great..
you should change your water mark to "wud up dog" lol......get your user name in it.
