Hello Camera - my daily photos

Few from the family session from yesterday - actually its a bit harder making the whole series in b/w, than I thought :)

Really love these! It's cool when someone goes for a non-traditional pose, too. Sets things apart! Curious, the overcast skies, long sleeves and B&W make the pics seem like winter photos. Was it cold?

I'm with Marilynne, though, the grass in front of mom's face in the first photo is a little distracting.

Jack does the behind the scene clean up act which I must say goes unnoticed at most times..
He fixes our typos and incorrectly spaced photos so ppl will find it easier going through the threads

Like that - must type better from now on then ;)

It was very cold and so windy, they actually had jackets on, which they removed every time we took a picture. Its autumn here now. I was hoping for beautiful white, fluffy clouds, specially now they want all the pics in b/w, but not this time.

Do all triggers and receivers talk together, if put on the right channel? I will get one for my flash, but use it together with studio lamps, and startet to wonder..

My newphews :) Secret photoshoot (with their grandparents/my mom and dad in law) as its a gift for their moms birthday. So sweet to support my photography, by asking if I wanna do it! I got the most amazing in-laws ever.

Am really happy about several of these:

And so you should be. Great looking kids who look very at ease in front of the camera. Cheers, Brad :)

My first go at the Molloy technique. Would have made more adjustments but my computer couldnt handle 139 raw files in once, lol. Darnit!

And more fun with my friend:

I had not seen this technique before but it looks interesting. I think you would need to shoot in JPEG to be able to handle all the files. I know the time lapse I did recently the camera would only shoot in JPEG. Also I shot 6000 photos so RAW would have been a nightmare anyway.

Wow 6000?? Have you posted the end image?

Making layers went fine, but I wanted to adjust some of the blown out places, this it couldnt do. But guess it doesn't really matter, in the end result, actually.

Other than this, even though I am kind of pleased with my latest results, I am having a 'bad' photographing period, I feel limited with what I can do/know so far, so I don't advertise, and therefore don't really get any jobs.

Maybe its healthy to have a break.

Also think I need something for inspiration and to learn more. Could be this rainy weather doesn't help either. Today we even had a storm (you would probably laugh if you had been here, I know you got some really crazy weather over in US).

Cool! Very well done, and so funny to see. Is it your car?

it is my daughter's car. She works as an artist for a company that does among other things, car wraps. She designed this and the company did it for advertising purposes. The design is based on a game called Minecraft. She had taken the car to a small gaming convention here is Alabama a couple of weeks ago and is taking it to a major Minecraft convention in Orlando, Fl this weekend and the company that produced the game has expressed interest in the car so they will be talking to her about it. It really has been interesting to see people reaction to the car when we have been out together

The clouds look unnatural (to me) being on their side like that. Maybe if you turn it it would be better??

Not really sure how you mean?
The whole image are kind of unnatural, I would say ;)

Sounds great, and it looks really good. Hope the game producers will love it.
