I thought, you can always try - so I wrote a pretty big danish dog food company (also got toys, goodies and so on), they got 17.000 page like on Facebook and make these huge competitions where you can win stuff for dogs - I wrote, if they would be interested in me offering a photoshoot with a dog as something their fans could win, in return I of course want the promotion.
10 minutes, then I got a reply, they wanna do it! Maybe I could be one of the prizes in their grand christmas competition, yaaaaay. Then he went further - if I could do product shots for them? Both classic clean pictures but also "environment" pics, like - dog laying in living room with something to chew on, dog playing with new fancy toy etc.
Well, the product shots I cant really do right now, as I dont have a setup for it, I didnt give him a straight answer, will just think about if I should invest for some gear for this. But the other pictures, I could totally do :-D
Found a studio! Its a shared studio, includes lamps and black and white backdrop (also green, for uuugh.. whats the name....), softboxes and triggers.
Its 1/4 of the price as another place I was looking at, with no setup at all, I would have to get it all myself. Bad part, its an hour away (dont have a car at the moment).
What good news! We can expect even more fantastic work from you! A whole new world will open up eh? Cheers, Brad
Thank you, Lawrence! Hope you will like it. Yes, suddenly it really started happening, amazingLoads of sleepless nights, I must admit, but now I feel more confident and I feel that I have learned a lot, so I am really beginning to have an instinct how to compose the shot, instead of all being a plan I made from home. Yes I did that
I drawed a lot of bad drawings with poses to place the people in. I didnt show the client of course..
Have you posted your avatar in big somewhere? Is it a mask?
Few from the family session from yesterday - actually its a bit harder making the whole series in b/w, than I thought

I find the grass is distracting and takes away from the woman's face in the first shot. Other than that, nice photos.
