Where do you stay? We've been to drummerboy and the KOA down there. Although some would say this is not camping :)

I've actually never been camping in Gettysburg! Weird, seeing as I go there all the time.. I love the history associated with the area. You'll have to fill me in on all the good spots!

I got a random phone call today. Apparently, a girl I know ....(the one in this shot:) Throwing Leaves by stupidphotoguy, on Flickr

..moved to Florida awhile back, and is now getting married in late June. She wants ME to be the photographer at the wedding! I feel honored that someone would hire me for...well, for anything, really, LOL! Now, even I have the jitters! She's working with an unknown budget at this point, but did say she'd cover batteries, cards etc, basically anything that I would need. She says the wedding will be a black and white themed wedding, with her in a red dress. The location of the actual ceremony will be on a bridge. The couple will bungee jump off the bridge at a certain point during the ceremony! How badass.. Afterward, there will be a BBQ on a beach/stream type thing at sunset with much drinking and partying ensuing.

I'll be honest. I've never shot under pressure quite like that and am thinking about gear choices, lenses and of course the locations of where I need to be and when. ANY advice would be great!

Not only that, but this shot: Hair Twirl by stupidphotoguy, on Flickr

Generated SO much interest in the tattoo world, I can't even believe it. Apparently, she's a model at a tattoo convention this year and the picture leaked out. She claims that the top few magazines that deal in this sort of photography have asked about her because OF the picture! She intentionally left the watermark on the picture so that I would get some attention. And now, they're starting to ask about me.. Is this how things pop off for professional photogs? Time will tell what happens on that one, but she told me to sit tight and enjoy the ride. Whatever that means..!

Sounds Great! Of course you will simultaneously bungee jump with camera to capture the moment right! :)

If you don't already have a website, might be a good idea to get one going!

Oh MAN! I didn't even think about doing a jump with them to catch the moment!! That is an incredible idea, Rick!

I do think though, that I'd be too busy worrying about jumping and doing it right rather than shooting pictures, haha!

Any pointers from anyone on a general note? I've only shot weddings casually. I've never actually done one as the sole shooter. Wondering if I should invest in a second body or some new glass or something.. DEFINITELY some extra batteries!

I might just hang in midair, half way down on the bridge and shoot them while they're coming down. That'd be a pretty unique wedding shot for sure!
